Oudtshoorn is the ostrich capital of the world. Nowhere else are ostriches found in such great number and nowhere else do they produce feathers of such fine quality – but the world’s biggest bird is just one attraction in an area of enormous contrasts.
Visit the Cango Caves, internationally renowned as one of the world’s great natural wonders, sculpted by nature through the ages. Their fascinating limestone formation occurs in a variety of ways.
Continue on to the Safari Ostrich Ranch and come face to face with the biggest bird in the world.
Finally, end your day at the Cango Wildlife Ranch. Over 300 crocodiles, ranging from 50 cm to four meters in length, inhabit the ranch.
Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Dolphins frolicking in the waves, surfing and playing for the sheer joy of life, and the gentle giant of the ocean, the southern right whale visits here, coming inshore to breed. We visit Plettenberg Bay, Natures Valley, Bloukrans bridge, the highest bungi jump bridge in the world and Stormsriver Bridge.
Monkeyland: Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary in South Africa is the World’s first free-roaming, multi-species primate sanctuary. Experienced rangers guide one-hour tours through Monkeyland’s indigenous forest in English, Afrikaans, German, Italian, French, Italian and Spanish. More than 450 primates free-roam the Monkeyland’s forest.

Enjoy a cruise to Seal Island, to view seals and sea birds at Duiker Island (weather permitting). During summer, several thousand Cape Fur Seals – along with the rare Black Cormorant – lollop leisurely among the kelp beds.
Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Indigenous fauna and flora are conserved in this priceless wilderness area. The scenery en route to Cape Point, at the South Western tip of the reserve, is particularly lovely in spring when wildflowers carpet the landscape. The new lighthouse – the most powerful in the world – beams an electric light of 19 million candle power across the ocean. Ascend to the top by Funicular.
Visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Then drive through the historic naval base town of Simon’s Town.
End the day with a stroll through Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. The newly completed Treetop Canopy Walkway gives visitors the opportunity to experience the forest from high above the ground. The galvanised steel structure meanders through trees and branches, with sections that crown above the forest.
